Another incredible day yesterday. Attendance was right at 1,600 again yesterday. (we averaged 120 more people per week in January than in December) The bad news is they are all attending the 11:15 am service! It was wall to wall in there yesterday.
If you are a member, why not try the 8:30am service or 6:00pm service to free up a seat for a guest at one of the prime times (9:45am and 11:15am)?
Yesterday we had to park cars on the little road that goes to the back of our property to make room! Every other space was filled (on the asphalt, gravel and grass)
In January we have had about 100 new members go through the Belong Class! (We're doing 2 more classes next Sunday)
We also wrapped up the "Obey" series yesterday. I had a blast delivering it, but this week we are starting a new series called "Forecast" It will center around family matters, and should be awesome!
One other important thing to note. We normally do our Parent/Child dedications on Mother's Day. This year we will do it on February 24th at the 8:30 am service ONLY. We announced this yesterday, but many people assumed that we would be doing it on Mother's day as well---We are not.
