Well the Grand Opening of our building is now behind us. It was pretty incredible. We had a few malfunctions, like the power flickering on Saturday evening's service, which caused our lighting system to do some funky things. We also had our fire alarm trip on Saturday and Sunday. Fortunately it was before the service, not during it!
We kicked off our new series, Bonding With James (5 weeks in the book of James). The whole James Bond theme was pretty cool. I got a chance to wear a black Tux, and drive out in a BMW convertible---that was fun.
We had a strong attendance of 2,389 people (over 520 in the kid's area!)
The feedback from our guests have been amazing. One guy said that he hasn't been to church in years, but he came on Saturday night. He liked it so much that he came back on Sunday morning!
God is at work at Foothills!
